KMG built up the Klitschko brand and handles all of their marketing activities. In addition, KMG has become well-known as a worldwide organizer of the World Championship fights of the Klitschkos, of which eight took place in sold-out football arenas. The first event in such an arena has already set a record and gone down into the history of professional boxing: 61,000 spectators and fans saw the fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Ruslan Chagaev live in the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen/Germany in June 2009. In Germany alone 11.5 million people watched the sport highlight live on television. It was broadcasted in over 150 countries.
As the first siblings to hold all Heavyweight World Championship titles at the same time, the brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko made history. The success of the brand is reflected by several awards such as the Bambi (2x), Goldene Kamera, GQ Award or the Laureaus Award.
The events organized by KMG achieved various TV awards as well. In 2011, the agency was honored with the SPORT BILD Award in the Category “Best Sports Marketing” for the fight between Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye.
